Women in Franchising Initiative

Women possess unique characteristics, skill sets and personality traits which qualify them to become exceptional leaders in franchising.

Having an eye for details, female business owners are financially prudent and they can think on their feet, react rapidly, improvise, and cope with change when required.

With their strong networking and communications abilities and organizing and prioritizing aptitudes, female entrepreneurs have countless opportunities across all franchise categories and models with the possibility for starting a flexible business while maintaining a happy family life.

The “Women in Franchising Initiative” embraces female entrepreneurs’ unique leadership potential, and aims at helping them pave their way to success in franchising.

“They said to me, ‘Make the decision and don’t come back in tears.’ I learned the hard way early on in life that I need to be responsible for what I’m getting into.”

Special emphasis will be given to the development of a dedicated user-specific web portal and social media platforms, in addition to the planning and execution of specialized women in franchising events and award programs.

As an additional benefit of the program, and based on agreed qualifying criteria, a franchise scale-up program will be provided for five selected female owned businesses to support their growth in terms of organizational structure, number of business units, market accessibility and revenues.
